Pura Vida Retreat & Spa is a revitalizing wellness getaway located in an 8 acre gated resort 4900 feet above sea level surrounded by coffee plantations overlooking Costa Rica’s Center Valley, just 20 minutes from Costa Rica’s SJO Airport.
All our Delicious dishes are lovingly prepared from fresh local produce and regional purveyors. By Pura Vida’s talented chefs. Served buffet-style in our inviting dining hall, all meals feature both North American and Costa Rican vegetarian, fish and chicken dishes to tempt your taste buds and nourish your body and soul. Pura Vida supports local farmers and growers. We also can accommodate specialty diets with advance notice.
Complimentary coffee, tea, alkaline water and filtered water are available throughout the day. The wine and juice bar in the dining hall stocks sulfite-free, organic wines, Costa Rican and Central American beers, It is also the place for fresh smoothies, custom-blended chai and organic wheat grass elixirs (made from wheat grass grown in-house).
